The idea started with our own Toy Terrier, Christian.

So more than three years ago, we designed a hoodie with a real built-in dog carrier pocket.

More Than a Hoodie With a Pocket

A dog carrier pocket needs to do something a normal hoodie pocket cannot: support the dog's weight without sagging away from the body.

Our fleece version uses a specially developed construction with reinforced double layers and a shaped carrier pocket.

The front of the pocket is raised while the back is positioned lower. Once your dog settles inside, the design helps distribute the weight more naturally against your body instead of allowing the pocket to hang forward.

Adjustable elastic sections help bring the pocket closer around your dog and reduce cold air entering from the front and back.

And because the carrier construction has no conventional side seam restricting the interior space, your dog has room to settle into a comfortable position — or even curl completely inside when they want extra warmth.

We don't use a carrier because Christian cannot walk.

He walks every day.

We use it because small dogs sometimes need a warm place to rest.

Every KokoPaws Hoodie Carrier is made by our family production team in Ukraine.

We have been designing and producing products for dogs for more than eight years, and the Hoodie Carrier construction has been tested, worn and improved over several years.

This isn't a standard sweatshirt with an oversized pouch sewn onto the front.

The construction was developed specifically to carry a small dog while keeping the garment structured.

Production usually takes around three business days, depending on order volume. We also maintain inventory in the United States for selected products.
